Picking berries is a fun family activity. The last few weeks of summer are the perfect time to pick fresh blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. High in antioxidants and naturally sweet, these gems are sure to be a family favorite. From muffins to pancakes, even savory salads, there are many ways to cook with berries. Get the family involved in making this easy and delicious Eight Layer Breakfast Parfait. It might even be fun to set up a make-your-own parfait bar. Eight Layer Breakfast Parfait

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients

2 tablespoons granola or crunchy cereal

4 ounces yogurt

¼ cup raspberries (fresh or thawed, if frozen)

¼ cup blackberries (fresh or thawed, if frozen)

Directions

Layer the ingredients in a small cup, using half of each ingredient per layer. You will end up with eight layers. Use any type of berry you like, such as strawberries or blueberries.
