Hello, Summer! Lobster Roll Dip


Nothing says summertime like fresh seafood. Lobster rolls are a summertime favorite in New England. Lobster salad is served on a toasted and buttered hot dog roll. Even the McDonald’s in Maine serves lobster rolls! Try making the dip below as an appetizer. Your kids will enjoy measuring and mixing the ingredients.

Lobster Roll Dip

Makes 16 servings


8 ounces lobster meat, canned or fresh and cooked
1 green onion, minced finely
1 stalk celery, minced finely
1 tablespoon lemon juice
8 ounces cream cheese softened
½ teaspoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon fresh parsley (1/2 teaspoon dried parsley)


mix together ingredients until they are well combined. Refrigerate until ready to eat. Spread on crackers or slices of toasted baguette. To be really authentic, spread dip on small slices of toasted hot dog roll.
